EDIT: The shop is BACK OPEN!! Currently closed due to COVID. I love this shop. I don’t live near Manistee but I wanted to get some used books after I noticed my bookcase looking w little barren. I called to see if they were open and only got a busy signal. We drove up and found a note on the door stating they would be closed until the pandemic was over. The gentleman who owned this shop is knowledgeable and kind. I will be heading back that way after all this mess is over.

Delightful bookstore. Clean, well organized and current. Books are shelved by genre and alphabetized by author - easy to locate. The owner is helpful and so pleasant and delights in helping you find the right book. Prices average $3 for paperbacks and $5 + for hard cover. The books are in terrific condition just waiting to go home and entertain you. The store is located across the street from the Vogue Theatre and is easy to find in downtown Manistee. Stop in and add to your library.

Lovely used bookstore. The man working was so nice and helped me find a book in the genre I was looking for. Next time I’m in Manistee I will definitely return!
